The Church anchors societal norms and values. Today, I joined the people of Bumula Constituency at the grounds of Mungore Comprehensive School in Khasoko Ward, Bungoma County, for a fellowship, at the invitation of former MPs Mwambu Mabonga and Boniface Otsyula. We continue to contribute to the work of the Church, and I was joined by fellow leaders, including Farouk Kibet, Governor Ken Lusaka, Senator Wafula Wakoli and Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, in a fundraising drive to support the construction of a vicar’s residence at St. Peter’s Mungore ACK Parish. I urged the people of Western Kenya to continue supporting the Kenya Kwanza administration for the development and opportunities it has delivered to the region, including roads, modern markets, affordable housing, and the planned SGR extension to Bungoma. This is our Government, and we must remain engaged and committed to the re-election of President William Ruto. Beyond development, many sons and daughters of Western Kenya are serving in senior positions, unlike the previous Government. I urge leaders to use their positions to serve and uplift the people at the grassroots.
