I attended an education fund drive at Mugur E Serima in Marsabit County, organised by Bernice Sialaal Lemedeket of the National Police Service and hosted by the area MP, Joseph Lemasolai Lekuton. Marsabit has faced security challenges, and I am encouraged by the Government’s progress in addressing them. We remain committed to listening to local communities and working together to resolve insecurity. President William Ruto’s leadership is committed to developing all parts of the country across all sectors, hence deserving a second term. Kenya has seen improvements in health, education, roads and other infrastructure under President Ruto. It has also attracted major investments, including the Sh2 trillion investment in Lamu and the Dangote Oil Refinery. This year, we will employ an additional 24,000 teachers, with more deployed to hardship areas, because every Kenyan deserves equal opportunities. I have visited many parts of this country and seen what partnerships can achieve. Economic projects must be implemented consistently so that every community benefits. I am also glad to have participated in the signing and final construction of the Rumuruti-Maralal Road while serving as Minister for Foreign Affairs.
