متن اصلی

Marco Rubio's speech on Wednesday afternoon in Athens will be delivered from the Pnyx, a hillside with a commanding view of the Acropolis. It served as the meeting place of the ancient Athenian democratic assembly and symbolizes the birthplace of direct democracy. Rubio will "call upon Americans and Europeans alike to join together in a great renewal of the Western spirit -- an inheritance stretching from Athens and Rome to Christendom to the founding of the American Republic," according to Assistant Secretary of State @ASDylanJohnson
