نخستوزیر شهباز شریف هنگام ورود به کاخ ریاست‌جمهوری قرقییزستان، اینتماک اورردو (کاخ اتحاد) برای دیدار با سادیر ژاپروف رئیس‌جمهور، فرش قرمز و گارد احترام استقبال گرفت. همان با ورود نخست‌وزیر به محل استقبال رسمی، او توسط رئیس‌جمهور ژاپروف گرم استقبال شد. در حالی که دو رهبر بر سکوی سلام ایستاده بودند، سرودهای ملی پاکستان و قرقییزستان پخش شد. نیروهای نظامی قرقییزستان با پوششی منظم گارد احترام دادند که توسط نخست‌وزیر بازبینی شد؛ نخست‌وزیر برای شرکت در نشست شورای سرامان سازمان همکاری شانگهای در بیشکک حضور دارد. هر دو رهبر پیش از رفتن به محل نشست خود، هیئت‌های خود را به یکدیگر معرفی کردند؛ نشستی که شامل گفتگوهایی درباره مسائل دوجانبه و همچنین منطقه‌ای خواهد بود.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was given a red carpet welcome and a guard of honour as he arrived at the Kyrgyzstan presidential palace Yntymak Ordo (Palace of Unity) to meet President Sadyr Zhaparov. As the prime minister arrived at the venue of the formal welcome reception, he was warmly received by President Zhaparov. The national anthems of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were played as the two leaders stood at the salute dais. The smartly-turned out contingents of the Kyrgyz armed forces presented guard of honour which was reviewed by the prime minister, who is in Bishkek to attend the meeting of the Council of Heads of States of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. Both leaders introduced their respective delegations to each other before proceeding for their meeting which would feature discussions on bilateral as well as regional matters.
