امروزازظهر با خانواده دوست و خواهر عزیزم، الیزیزابت «میس لین» رید، ملاقات کردم تا تسلات خود را ابراز کنم و در غمشان با آن‌ها شریک شوم. میخواستم خانواده او بدانند که در این زمانِ فقدان، تنها نیستند. عشق، مهربانی و تعهد لین، بسیاری از زندگی‌ها، از جمله زندگی من را تحت تأثیر قرار داد و جای خالی او عمیقاً احساس خواهد شد. از خداوند می‌خواهم که در این سوگواری به خانواده‌اش صبر و آرامش ببشد و خاطره میس لین در قلب تمام کسانی که او را می‌شناختند و دوست داشتند، ماندگار بماند.

This afternoon, I visited the family of my dear friend and sister, Elizabeth “Miss Lyn” Reid, to offer my condolences and share in their grief. I wanted her family to know that they are not alone in this time of loss. Lyn’s love, kindness and commitment touched many lives, including mine, and her absence will be deeply felt. May God continue to give her family strength and comfort as they mourn, and may the memory of Miss Lyn live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
