I thank the Long’eli Clan for honouring me as their elder during a ceremony held at Namarey, Marsabit County, on the sidelines of today’s Education Fund Drive. I warmly welcome the coronation, which is a symbol of unity and reflects the shared culture and traditions of our great country, Kenya. In my capacity as an elder and national leader, I will continue to champion the interests of marginalised communities as they strive to prosper in their social, economic and political endeavours. My contribution to public service is anchored in my vision for a united country; one where we respect and uphold the rights and privileges of one another, as enshrined in the Constitution.
